Get Your Own Windows Live Domain

One thing they’ve held back on Windows Live till now is this: They’re opening the Passport system to anyone with a domain name. Omar Shahine explains what Windows Live Domains is, but the basic idea is you point your MX records at Live and get Hotmail, Messenger and any other type of accounts with your own domain name. If you have a family website, you can get twenty Hotmail accounts with your domain name, all for free.

The Passport system is a good enough one that opening it up to the rest of the world can be a pretty good thing, if people take advantage of it.
