Xbox 360 Headset Hacks

Xbox 360 Fanboy has been posting some headset hacks. One guy clipped a Jabra A210 Bluetooth adapter (which is the perfect size to clip to a 360 controller) to the back of his wireless controller, letting him use Bluetooth headsets instead of the regular wired headset. Not a bad idea, even if some functionalit was lost in the process. Hopefully someone will release an 360-specific Bluetooth headset eventually.

Another hack involved getting the old original Xbox headset to work with the 360 controller. Basically, it involves stripping out parts from the 360 headset and soldering them with parts of the Xbox headset, creating a conglomerated, molatto, mongrel class of controller. Difficult for many, but if the 360s headset is as bad as some people have been complaining, I guess it’s worth it.
