Microsoft Patches Against Plays4Sure Hack FairUse4WM
Microsoft has issued a patch to music stores using its PlaysForSure DRM music tracks, blocking the DRM-stripping tool FairUse4WM that was reported on late last week. Microsoft sent a letter to music store clients, acknowledging the hack, the Engadget blog post, and reiterating its commitment to protect the stores from giving consumers what they want.
