Windows Live Search Adds Outbound Links
Windows Live Search announced a new search operator, “LinkFromDomain:”. It shows you outgoing links from a website, ranked by Live Search’s algorithms. Looking at the results for outgoing links from this site, you wind up with some interesting links (my #1 is HomeStarRunner). This is a useful search operator, one that returns a good cross-section of sites considered important by sites you already know, and one I haven’t seen at any other search engine. I’m sure Search Macro creators will enjoy the additional option.
A poster at Threadwatch says the operator proves Windows Live doesn’t honor the nofollow command.
