Microsoft Evaluation Virtual Disk Images
Microsoft has put up a few more disk images for use in running a virtual install of some of its software. If you want to check out Windows Vista Enterprise, Visual Studio 2005 Team Suite, or Windows Server 2003 R2, you can just download these free images and run them in a virtualization program like Virtual PC.
Download:
- Windows Vista Enterprise – 30-day evaluation, running possibly as large as 1.5 gigabytes.
- Visual Studio 2005 Team Suite – up to 4 gigabyte Virtual Hard Drive, does not appear to be time limited.
- Windows Server 2003 R2 – An up to 1.3 gigabyte VHD, also does not appear to be time limited.
