Halo 3 Beta Video Leaked

Someone slipped some video of the Halo 3 beta (which is being released next month) onto the internets, and fans are obsessing about it. The nearly seven minute clip features some awful music (and I liked the regular version of that song in Kill Bill!), so mute your speakers, and some gameplay and graphics that look really, really good. I can’t wait to get my hands on the beta in mid-May.

Joystiq did a voice-over of the entie video, pointing out some of the cool things you may have missed:

Xbox 360 Fanboy also has a bullet point rundown of interesting things in the video.

Also, check out Chris Anderson’s blog, since he got to do some voice work for Halo 3, and even posted most of the script he read. Cool stuff.

  1. Good commentary…and he does really suck at H3.

  2. Its a possibility that The round glow-ee thing could still be the sword, but in collapsed (or inactive) form. That actually makes more sense than having an active sword inexplicably floating in the air.

Also, the shield didn’t disappear, it was blown off the ledge.
