Microsoft Made A Movie

Kris Hoet blogged about “The Break-Up”, some sort of movie Microsoft made, one that’s supposed to highlight the relationship with advertisers and consumers. The video was made by Microsoft Digital Advertising Solutions and stars Claire Coffee (NCIS, CSI, West Wing) as the consumer and Brad Raider (CSI:NY, That Was Then, The Trouble With Normal) as the advertiser.

I’m not sure how long the film is, or exactly what happens in it, but it seems like they have big plans for it. According to the official site says they plan to promote the movie at advertising events and online, and they shared this presentation made at the beginning of the project:

It seems to have to do getting people to see the power of Microsoft’s digital media and increasing usage of it, that it focuses on communication and interaction between two people, and that maybe it could launch at the same time as something like Live Writer. Here is a Flickr photoset from the shoot:

I can’t wait to see what they’ve put together. Wonder how long it’ll be.

  1. Hey Nathan - The movie is a really short one, about 3 minutes or so. It’s trying to make more advertisers open up their eyes on the changed landscape. It’s pretty good though, so I guess you’ll like it.
