New Microsoft Lifecams

Microsoft announced two new webcams in their Lifecam series.

The Microsoft LifeCam NX-3000 is $59.99, has a 640×480 resolution VGA resolution, takes 1.3 megapixel (1280×960) photos, has a built-in uni-directional microphone with acoustic noise cancellation, can pan, tilt and zoom, has automatic face tracking, clips onto most laptops, and can swivel up and down while attached. It has a button to initiate a Windows Live Call, a LifeCam Dasboard, and one-touch blogging of photos to Windows Live Spaces.

The Microsoft LifeCam VX-7000 is $99.99, and it does high definition video at 2 megapixels, photos at 7.6 megapixels, a wide-angle lens, automatic adjustment in low-light conditions, and a built-in unidirectional microphone with acoustic noise cancellation. It also has a Windows Live Call button, the LifeCam Dashboard, and one-touch blogging of photos to Windows Live Spaces.
