Random Video Game Post

When you want to point out that Todd Bishop has some good posts on the next-gen console wars, that is the title you wind up with.

First off, Todd notes Sony’s attempt to compete with Xbox Live, or rather their lack of any attempt. Given Xbox Live’s popularity, that will probably come to hurt them even more in the next generation.

Next, how Microsoft will fight very hard to get the 360 accepted in Japan.

Finally, the Playstation 3 will support outputting to dual screens, either as a way of providing panoramic output, or of displaying additional information. Now, while the photo makes it look quite useful, remember that the PC has supported muyltiple outputs for years, and no game developers (or users) have really taken advantage of that.
