MSN Search Advanced Operators

The MSN Search weblog has some detail on the advanced search operators that now work with MSN Search. Among them, Filetype: for searching for types of files, like PDFs, Link: and LinkDomain: for two flavors of sitesearch (a great idea), and InURL:, InAnchor:, InTitle:, and InBody:. But my favorite has to be Contains:, which lists pages which contain links to specific types of files. They say this works surprisingly well to find blogs, by using contains:(rss xml rdf atom) in a search. It works surprisingly well as a blog search tool, although I’d prefer a full blog search engine from the big guys.
