Splinter Cell, Six Others Now Backwards Compatible

Kotaku reports that Microsoft has released Xbox 360 backwards compatibility emulators for seven more original Xbox games, all Ubisoft titles. They are:

  • Ghost Recon 2
  • Ghost Recon 2 Summitt Strike
  • Rainbow Six 3
  • Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow
  • Splinter Cell
  • Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow
  • Splinter Cell Chaos Theory

Many considered Splinter Cell to be a major hole in the list, so great to hear that they filled it. Major Nelson has more, including that there is a bug when running Halo 2 widescreen in resolutions higher than 480p that they are working on.

Damn, I need Major Nelson’s commenting plugin…
