Dell Posting Vista Drivers
Dell has started posting drivers for Windows Vista on their support website. For example, here are the drivers for 32-bit Windows Vista for my Inspiron 6000, as seen in this screenshot:
This is great. The old drivers for my audio were awful, disabling my headphone and mic ports. I’ll install these and update with my impressions tomorrow.
UPDATE: Yuck. The audio drivers are the same ones that have been available for the last 14 months. If Dell thinks they can declare those drivers Vista-ready, they are kidding themselves.
